THE RULES OF THE WORKSHOP
Build boldly. Use the service fairly.
These terms govern your access to and use of What Powers It, including its recommendations, blueprints, and account features.
Effective September 6, 20261. Using What Powers It
You may use the service only if you can legally enter into these terms. You are responsible for the accuracy of information you provide and for keeping your account credentials secure. Please notify us if you believe your account has been compromised.
2. Recommendations are decision support
What Powers It provides informational technology recommendations based on the details you submit. Recommendations, comparisons, estimates, and generated plans are not guarantees of price, availability, compatibility, security, performance, or fitness for a particular purpose. You are responsible for evaluating third-party products and making final technical, financial, and business decisions.
3. Acceptable use
You may not misuse the service, interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorized access, bypass usage or security limits, scrape the service at unreasonable scale, upload unlawful or harmful material, impersonate others, or use the service to violate law or third-party rights.
4. Your content
You retain ownership of the project information and content you submit. You give us permission to host, process, reproduce, and display that content only as needed to provide, secure, and improve the service. Do not submit content you do not have the right to use.
5. Our service and intellectual property
What Powers It, its design, software, branding, curated data, and original content are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by applicable laws. These terms give you a limited, revocable, non-transferable right to use the service; they do not transfer ownership.
6. Third-party services
The service references and links to independent products and websites. We do not control or endorse every change those providers make. Your use of a third-party service is governed by its own terms, pricing, availability, and privacy policy.
7. Paid features
If paid features become available, the price, billing period, included usage, renewal terms, and cancellation options will be shown before purchase. Additional payment terms presented at checkout will become part of these terms.
8. Availability and changes
We may improve, change, suspend, or discontinue parts of the service. We aim to keep the product useful and available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access. We may suspend accounts that materially violate these terms or create security or legal risk.
9. Disclaimers and liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties not expressly stated here. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for decisions made based on recommendations. Nothing in these terms limits rights or liability that cannot legally be limited.
10. Changes and contact
We may update these terms as the service evolves. The revised terms will be posted here with a new effective date. Questions can be sent to hello@whatpowersit.com.
